Events

It pains us to announce that we have to cancel the Hudson Valley Open that was scheduled for 8/8/20.  We hope things get better soon.  As weightlifters, we are accustomed to the physical and mental challenges of our sport.  As we strengthen our minds and bodies in this environment, we also become stronger in handling many of life’s other curve balls.  Use that strength and a positive mindset to overcome this latest obstacle.

Thank you to all who have supported us.  We will be back hosting competitions! We hope that it can happen sooner than later.

We are postponing the Hudson Valley Open to August 8. With everything going the way it is, it’s important to think of the safety of everyone involved. Although we are hopeful that businesses can open soon, we also wanted to make sure that athletes have enough time to get back to training & be able to peak for this competition.
USAW is in the process of updating the competition calendar. The eventbrite registration page will also be updated with the new date. Current registrations will still be active.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding. We’ll get through this together and come back stronger than ever.

Thank you to all who came out to the Hudson Valley Winter Classic! We enjoyed putting on this competition.  There was a lot of great lifting.

Here are the 2020 HVWC Results. They are being uploaded to USAW.  Please be patient – the BARS system has been problematic.  We have stressed the importance of getting the results tabulated asap due to some lifters using these results to qualify for the AO1 at the Arnold’s.  USAW staff is working to get everything sorted out for you.  For those going to the AO1 – Good luck!
